Yes. Adalo Marketplace licenses are account-wide. One purchase unlocks the component across every app you build under your account.
There is no free tier. You can preview the component in the Adalo demo app and watch the demo video before purchasing.
No. All updates to the PDF Viewer component are free. Your one-time purchase covers every future version.

Compatibility

Yes — all three. The component is fully cross-platform. iOS and Android use a native PDF renderer. Web uses an embedded viewer with a toolbar and full-text search.
Any publicly accessible URL that points to a PDF file. This includes:
  • Adalo file fields (e.g. uploaded contracts, invoices)
  • Direct links to PDFs hosted on S3, Dropbox, Google Drive (use the direct download link)
  • Static URLs you hard-code in your app

PDFs behind a login or authentication wall won't load on the Web viewer.
Yes — that's the primary use case. Set the PDF URL property using Adalo's Magic Text to pull from any record's File field or text field containing a URL. Each user will see their own PDF.
Any paid Adalo plan supports marketplace components. The free Adalo plan does not include access to paid marketplace components.

Setup & Usage

After purchasing from the Adalo Marketplace, the component appears automatically in your component library inside the Adalo editor. Drag it onto any screen and set the PDF URL property. See the Getting Started guide for a full walkthrough.
Check these in order:
  1. Open the PDF URL directly in your browser — if it doesn't load there, it won't load in the app either.
  2. Make sure the URL ends in .pdf or the server responds with the correct Content-Type.
  3. Google Drive and Dropbox sharing links don't work — use the direct download URL instead.
  4. PDFs behind login walls (e.g. behind an API key) won't load on Web.

Yes. The Control Color property sets the color of page navigation buttons and the toolbar accent. Set it to your app's primary color and it'll match your brand automatically.
Yes. Set the Page Of Label property to the word for "of" in your language (e.g. de for German, من for Arabic). The Document Title and Loading Text fields are also fully customizable.
On iOS, the native share sheet opens — users can save the PDF to Files, AirDrop it, or share via Mail. On Android, the standard Android share intent launches. The document title shown in the share sheet is set by the Document Title property.
